WHY WE EXIST
In 2015, our lives were changed forever when our son, Josh, died of cancer at 27 years old. He was, and will always be a huge part of the lives of all who knew him. The Smiley Smiley Josh Riley Foundation is an opportunity for us to allow Josh to make a difference to the lives of other young adults with cancer.
The memories of the fun times with each other now last a lifetime.
Josh loved to spend time with his family and friends, and we made this special with holidays, all to try make the treatment bearable but most importantly to give us all a break. We want to do the same for all young adults experiencing cancer.
OUR AIM
We would like to continue to offer stays to young adults living with cancer, and their families, so they can keep making precious memories - something we were able to create with Josh and understand the importance of this.
We aim to continue to raise funds for the ongoing running costs of the lodge, so that we can continue to keep Smileys Retreat open and continue to make lasting memories.
